Teeth Retainer After Braces in Orange County

When we remove your braces, we will begin the retention stage of your treatment by creating an orthodontic teeth retainer for you. San Juan Capistrano orthodontist Dr. Tyler Olsen will create an orthodontic retainer for each set of your teeth that had braces (i.e. a top teeth retainer and bottom teeth retainer). The retention phase lasts for a minimum of 24 months. Your final orthodontic result depends on your retainers, so follow through with the hard work you’ve put in so far by wearing your teeth retainer according to Dr. Olsen's instructions. Remember to remove your orthodontic retainer before brushing, and brush your orthodontic retainer before placing it back in your mouth.
